Swim Description:
The swim will take place at scenic Farmington Lake, three miles northeast of Farmington on Hwy. 516. The 1,400 yard distance consists of two 700 yard legs, incorporating a short beach run between laps. Water temperatures are expected to be in the high 50's to low 60's and wetsuits are highly recommended. Spectator viewing opportunities are excellent. View Water Temp at Farmington Lake.

Trail Run:
The trail run is a point-to-point jaunt from Farmington Lake to Lions Wilderness Park. Lions Wilderness Park Amphitheater will also serve as the run/bike transition area and

finish. The run circumvents half the lake perimeter before heading due west to a few short, steep hills. Entering Lions Wilderness Park, runners are treated to sandstone benches leading to arroyo drainages and finally the transition point.

Mountain Bike:
The bike leg takes place on the venerable Road Apple course. The Road Apple Rally is the oldest continually run mountain bike race in North America. The course is 86% mature, hardpacked single-track. It has become known for its speed, twists and numerous whoops.
